Changing your local working folder essentially involves creating a NEW WORKSPACE. The LOCAL folder for that workspace can be set to the new working folder that you are interested in creating

  1. Click on TFS Source Control Explorer , there should be a dropdown list of Workspaces.
  2. You have to Add a new workspace – and set the local folder to the new working folder on your local drive. Set the SOURCE folder to the TFS source control path of your project .
  3. Now you can get either the latest version or any previous version into this workspace.
