Publishing an asp.net website gives the following error.:

The directory ‘/App_GlobalResources/’ is not allowed because the application is precompiled.

All you need to do, if your site is Precompiled (which will be the case for a PUBLISH deploy), is to make sure that the offending directory /App_GlobalResources is deleted from your deployment location.
