The ‘Throwing’ muscles versus the ‘Lifting’ muscles

J. Douglas Edgar points out the essentially different setups in a ‘throwing’ motion versus a ‘lifting’ motion.

As I experimented more with the ‘throwing’ motion, I realized that the formation of the ‘angles’ on the backswing was only possible in a true throwing motion.

The throw of the entire left side through the ‘gate’ – visualized as a low, underhand throw, leads to the best angle formation!
