Some seek wealth, others fame. Whatever goal drives you, it is bound to come at a cost. The cost is that of your peace of mind. One may argue ‘No pain, no gain’ – and that some amount of stress is necessary to attain any goal. While that may be true, there is nothing that says that you cannot attain those goals without minimizing the stress. In other words, you choose whether or not to let the stress associated with success affect you. And that is dictated by how peaceful your mind is.

That is where Buddhism steps in. Of the many philosophies that mankind has explored, there is no other system of thought that resonates so deeply with inner peace and sanctuary as does Buddhism.

If attaining inner peace is the goal of man’s life – then the practicing Buddhist is the happiest human being alive.

The practicing Buddhist may not be wealthy in the traditional sense of the word – but he possesses the ultimate wealth which eludes the most successful amongst us.
