ssh -i MykeysPath myuser@IPAddress

SSH on windows gives the following error

Permissions for ‘path_to_keys’ are too open.
It is required that your private key files are NOT accessible by others.

Locate the private key file (e.g. id_rsa) on your drive –> “Properties”. Navigate to the “Security” tab and click “Advanced”.

  • Change the owner to you
  • Delete all  permissions that appear under permissions.
  • Grant your owner “Full control”

Was this able to resolve your permissions for private key too open error ?
